He was there to open the Liberal Democrats new campaign headquarters set up to make sure Jeremy Hilton becomes the next MP for Gloucester.

Graham Watson said the new party office in Gloucester would help the Liberal Democrats go from strength to strength and he encouraged members to work as hard as they can to elect more county councillors and MEPs at the same day election on 4th June. He also took time to read the latest edition of the Gloucester Bulletin a newspaper to be delivered to thousands of homes in Gloucester.

Jeremy Hilton said: "We are in a strong position to do very well in both elections this year and we are fielding an excellent team of candidates. The new party offices in Gloucester will help us deliver a more effective campaign. I am especially pleased that we located in the heart of Barton and Tredworth, a battle ground ward between us and Labour."
